Literally Unplayable (R Blog 2)
Author: Robert McGhee
As we tested our build for this week, we found a severe issue with our gameplay. When the game ran, the player was greeted with the main menu but was unable to use any of the buttons on it. This made the game unplayable since the only way to start the game is through the main menu buttons.
In order to fix this, we got together to determine the root of the problem, which was our Game Instance. Some file redirectors held incorrect file pathways which prevented our files from getting the correct Game Instance. Once we made sure the issue wasn't because the files didn't exist, we cleaned up the file redirectors and re-compiled our game. Now this version is playable, and we can continue to work on the main level's gameplay and appearance.
